Why Does Physical Dependence Occur?
As one uses more and more of a drug, or any kind of substance, the body develops a drug tolerance. This does not just refer to illegal substances, it can also happen when one drinks coffee on a daily basis. After a while, just one cup may not be enough to get that kick which is neccesary to get going in the morning, or to stay up all night. Thus, a second or third cup may be needed. In the case of drug users, one pill or one puff on x substance may not be enough. The body adapts to the substance that has been introduced. When the drug is no longer available withdrawal symptoms that are the opposite of the direct effects of the drug appear- and this is when the withdrawal occurs. Depending on the elimination half life of the drug, symptoms can arise a few hours after the drug is stopped or may even begin several days after discontinuation of the substance.
Effects of Ecstasy ,The majority of individuals who take ecstasy tell of a pleasant, relaxant effect of the drug. The drug is known to heighten the senses of kindness, affection and a loving feeling, and it is this property which make its abuse potential high. The drug is also known to decrease appetite and sleep- a combination which is highly sought after by the college students. However, the ability of this drug to decrease sleep and increase physical activity endurance combined with its ability to decrease to fluid intake has often resulted in dehydration, exhaustion and even death. Various studies have revealed that even recreational users of the drug might be at risk of developing permanent damage that can manifest depression, anxiety, memory loss, and psychotic disorders.
Oxycontin Abuse and Withdrawal Since the introduction of OxyContin in 1995, there has been a dramatic increase in abuse of this narcotic. Unlike hydrocodone and its derivatives, whose potential for abuse is limited by the presence of aspirin paracetamol, OxyContin contains only oxycodone. The drug is easily abused by simply crushing the tablets and either ingestion, injection, inhalation or placed rectally. The drug can have serious side effects when injected as it has a prolonged extended action. Oxycontin is frequently made more available by "doctor shopping," where individuals, who do not have a legitimate illness, repeatedly visit many doctors to acquire large amounts of controlled substances. Other methods of obtaining oxycontin include pharmacy diversion, robbery, fake/stolen prescription, the internet and improper prescribing practices by physicians. Recent reports indicate that non medical use of Oxycontin is relatively high among teenagers. The increased misuse of the drug has led to a numerous emergency admissions and even deaths. Many States have introduced legislation to decrease the illegal use of Oxycontin. Numerous States have also introduced prescription monitoring and banned the sale of the drug over the internet. Despite all the increased efforts by the FDA, DEA, and state/local authorities, the illicit use of Oxycontin is at an all time high. Over the last decade the increased illicit use of oxycontin has led to the manufacture of fake oxycontin pills all over north America.

Irish Soda Bread Recipe
It is best eaten freshly baked and warm or toasted.
Irish Bread with Raisins
ingredients
4 cups flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 Tbsp butter
1 cup raisins
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 cups buttermilk
1 Preheat oven to 425°.
Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda into a large mixing bowl.
2 Using a pastry cutter or two knives, work butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal, then stir in raisins.
3 Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add beaten egg and buttermilk to well and mix in with a wooden spoon until dough is too stiff to stir.
Dust hands with a little flour, then gently knead dough in the bowl just long enough to form a rough ball. If the dough is too sticky to work with, sprinkle in a little more flour.
Do not over knead!
Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and shape into a round loaf.
4 Transfer dough to a large, lightly greased cast-iron skillet or a baking sheet. Using a serrated knife, score top of dough about 1/2'' deep in an "X" shape. Transfer to oven and bake until bread is golden and bottom sounds hollow when tapped with a knife, about 35-45 minutes. Check for doneness also by inserting a long, thin skewer into the center. If it comes out clean, it's done.
Hint 1: If the top is getting too dark while baking, tent the bread with some aluminum foil.
Hint 2: If you use a cast iron skillet to cook the bread in the oven, be very careful when you take the pan out. It's easy to forget that the handle is extremely hot. Cool the handle with an ice cube, or put a pot holder over it.
Transfer bread to a rack to let cool briefly. Serve bread warm, at room temperature, or sliced and toasted.

Stuffed Green Bell Peppers with Rice
STUFF GREEN BELL PEPPER
8 large firm bell peppers (green or red)
3 cups cooked rice
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 lb ground lean pork or beef
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 large onion, finely chopped or grated
1/2 cup cracker or bread crumbs
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of Tabasco (optional)
1 pint tomato puree
4 slices bacon
Mix rice, egg, ground meat, crumbs, garlic which has been put through a garlic press or pureed, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Wash the peppers. Using a paring knife, cut out the top stem in a circle so that the pepper can be filled from the top. Scrape out the core and seeds and discard.
Fill the peppers with the meat mixture and place in a buttered casserole dish with a tiny dash of Tabasco sauce on top, if desired.

Stuffed Artichokes with breaded bread crumbs recipe
Stuff artichokes are definitely very tasty and can be a fabulous appetizer that could compliment most any meal. One note do include an extra dish to your place setting for guests so that they may use it for discarding artichoke leaves after eating. Also it would be a good idea to include extra napkins or a warm cloth too for each of your guests hands because this side dish could become some what a little messy.
Ingredient.
4 artichokes
75g anchovy fillets
crushed garlic
150g fresh breadcrumbs
50g olives oil
vinegar
parsley
salt and pepper
Directions.
1. Chop the anchovy stem , garlic, olives and parsley and mix with the breadcrumbs.
Add the oil and vinegar and work into a dry paste Season.
2. Wash the whole artichokes and fill between the leaves with this mixture.
3. Place the artichokes upright in a small saucepan.
Half cover them with water and add some oil.
Cover with a lid bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot.

Wedding Receptions Fabulous Creative Tradional
Wedding receptions aren't just creative or old tradional events planning for the event different receptions for a happy couple. Torii Gate The gate can be made of plywood, concrete form tubes, 2x4s, cardboard, drywall screws. The gate is actually two parts, upper and lower. The lower part is a 4x8 sheet of plywood, with two tubes. The tubes are screwed in place with small blocks of 2x4. The upper part is two tubes, 2x4s. A small plywood piece on edge forms the ridge. The shingles are just cardboard, painted and stapled in place. The tubes are cut out to allow the cross piece to pass through. The upper and lower parts are screwed together with longer 2x4 blocks inside tube. Built and paint the gate at home. Then with it split into two parts, transported it to the reception site. There it can reassembled and touched up with paint early in the morning . After the wedding, donate or give it away in a newspaper classified

There were four of these tubes - two were attached to the plywood sheet to make the base of the gate. The other two were used with the crossbar and roof of the gate. We didn't pour concrete in them, just used the tubes themselves, since they are very sturdy.

Nails tend to pull out much more easily than screws.

For the upper part of the gate, cut vertical slits in those tubes that would allow a 2x4, about 8 feet long, to pass through both of them. The roof of the gate is made of 3 of the 8 foot long 2x4s and some scrap blocks of 2x4.Placed several scrap blocks between two of the 2x4s, spacing them along the length. At least one block should line up with the little vertical piece in the middle of the cross piece. These scrap blocks would have measured almost the same length as the width of the tubes, so when the whole thing is set on top of the tubes, it would cover them and allow other scrap blocks to be used to attach the roof to the tubes in the same way that they were used to attach the other tubes to the sheet of plywood to form the base. The third 2x4 would have been set on top, in the middle of the scrap blocks and on edge ,so it stood 4 inches high. The shingles are just rectangles of cardboard (from packing boxes or shipping boxes), attached to the 2x4s with a electric stapler using heavy duty staples. They are overlapped just like you would see house roof shingles. This would create the angled roof that you see in the picture.
The upper and lower parts are screwed together with longer 2x4 blocks inside tube.
Around the inside of the tubes that are attached to the sheet of plywood, attached several, about one foot long, pieces of 2x4, leaving half of length of the 2x4s sticking up out of the top of the tubes. Then the top half of the gate could be placed over these 2x4s, matching the tubes to each other and sliding the top half down to match the bottom tubes, creating the complete gate.
Cardboard soaks up a lot of paint, so will required several coats.

As for the red color, Used a red wagon color paint , along with a flat black or Finding a red that would work with the red brocade that is used for a ladies' kimonos, or flowers so they wouldn't clash. Some have suggested that Vermilion or China Red is probably the more authentic color.

The upper part is two tubes, 2x4s. A small plywood piece on edge forms the ridge. The shingles are just cardboard, painted and stapled in place. The tubes are cut out to allow the cross piece to pass through.
For the upper part of the gate, cut vertical slits in those tubes that would allow a 2x4, about 8 feet long, to pass through both of them. The slits are located about one foot or so, down from the top of the tubes. The little vertical piece on the gate is a scrap of 2x4 attached to the middle of this cross piece. The roof of the gate is made of 3 of the 8 foot long 2x4s and some scrap blocks of 2x4.Placed several scrap blocks between two of the 2x4s, spacing them along the length. At least one block should line up with the little vertical piece in the middle of the cross piece. These scrap blocks would have measured almost the same length as the width of the tubes, so when the whole thing is set on top of the tubes, it would cover them and allow other scrap blocks to be used to attach the roof to the tubes in the same way that they were used to attach the other tubes to the sheet of plywood to form the base. The third 2x4 would have been set on top, in the middle of the scrap blocks and on edge ,so it stood 4 inches high. The shingles are just rectangles of cardboard (from packing boxes or shipping boxes), attached to the 2x4s with a electric stapler using heavy duty staples. They are overlapped just like you would see house roof shingles. This would create the angled roof that you see in the picture.

Around the inside of the tubes that are attached to the sheet of plywood, attached several, about one foot long, pieces of 2x4, leaving half of length of the 2x4s sticking up out of the top of the tubes. Then the top half of the gate could be placed over these 2x4s, matching the tubes to each other and sliding the top half down to match the bottom tubes, creating the complete gate.
Cardboard soaks up a lot of paint, so will required several coats.

During the three-year period, the researchers project that about half of the state's more than 100,000 same-sex couples will get married and another 68,000 out-of-state couples will travel to California to exchange vows. The nuptial rush is expected to create some 2,200 jobs.

Fried wontons, wonton soup,wonton recipe
Cooking Recipe: Put Wontons in your soup, fry wontons foran appetizer,wonton DIPPING SAUCE,and wonton wrappers.
Ingr:
1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach or mustard green
1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach or mustard green
1/2 lb. ground pork or veal
1 tbsp. sherry
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1 egg
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in -1 tbsp. water
Dash of white pepper
60 wonton wrappers (each 3 x 3 inches)
Partially thaw frozen spinach or mustard green and lightly squeeze out liquid

(leave some liquid in).
Mix thoroughly with rest of the filling ingredients.
Have 1/2 cup cold water ready.

Cover the stack of wonton wrappers with a damp cloth or paper towel
while wrapping to prevent them from drying out.
Place 1 teaspoon filling just below the center from drying out.

Fold the corner over the filling and roll toward the center,
leaving 1 inch of the opposite corner unrolled.
Dip a finger in the water and moisten one end of the rolled wrapper.
Take the two rolled ends in the fingers of both hands and

Pinch the ends firmly together to seal.
As each wonton is finished,
place it on a tray and cover with dry towel until ready to cook.
At this stage the wonton can also be frozen on a tray,
then transferred to a plastic bag or container.
* They will keep in the freezer for several weeks.
When ready to serve,
cook in boiling water for 2 minutes longer without defrosting.

Then bring to a boil once more.
Repeat adding cold water at least one more time.
When the wontons are done,
they will float to the top.
Drain in a colander.
*To serve as wonton soup:
1 c. water
5 tsp. minced scallion
5 tsp. soy sauce
2 1/2 tsp. sesame oil,
plain or hot Pepper to taste
Bring the chicken broth and water to a boil.

sesame oil at the bottom of 5 individual soup bowls.
Pour the hot broth over these.
As a soup coarse, add 25 drained, cooked wontons for 5 servings.
As a light meal, add 60 drained cooked wontons for 5 servings.
*To serve pan fried wontons as an appetizer:

2 tbsp tomato paste
4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
4 eggs lightly beaten
1/2 lb ricotta -salt, pepper
Prepare sauce: saute onion and garlic in margarine. Add ground meat.
Salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and cook for about 15 minutes. Add
the tomato paste and a cup of beef stock. Simmer for an hour.
-- Fry livers in margarine for 5 minutes.
-- Boil macaroni until barely tender. Rinse under cold water. mix the
cooked meat and tomato mixture into the macaroni. Add ricotta, beaten
eggs, and grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.

Put in a layer of macaroni mixture. If you cooked chicken livers,
arrange these over the macaroni and cover with another layer of macaroni.

Best Cooking Recipe for Rocotta Pie!
This is the pie or some call it cake we have at easter.
Grandma's cooking recipe:
Roman Ricotta Cake or Crostata di Ricotta
For the dough:
2 1/2 cups (300 gr) flour
3/4 cup (150 gr) sugar
6 oz (150 gr) butter, diced (at room temperature)
1 whole egg and one yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
for the egg wash: 1 egg white,1 teaspoon milk
Bake for about 35-40 minutes.
Let the cake cool at room temperature, and un-mould. Serve lukewarm.
For the filling:
2 eggs, separated
3/4 lb (300 gr) ricotta cheese,drained of the water in a colander
1/2 cup (100 gr) sugar
2 - 3 tablespoons Rum liquorone
cup (150 gr) candied fruit,
diced 1/2 cup (50 gr) raisins,soaked in warm water and drained
2 oz (60 gr) pine nuts
grated rind of one lemon or orange
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparing the dough:
Pour the flour on a work surface, in a mound shape with a hole in the center.
Add in the well the sugar, diced butter, one egg, one egg yolk, vanilla, and pinch of salt.
Mix the ingredients, combine the flour . . . . and knead to form a smooth dough.
Shape like a smooth ball, cover with a plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for about one hour.
Preparing the filling:
Separate the yolks from the whites and reserve the whites.
In a bowl put the ricotta cheese, sugar, egg yolks, and mix together to obtain a smooth cream.
stir-in the “amoretti” crumbs, rum, candied fruit, and raisins. Beat the reserved egg whites in a bowl until stiff.
Combine egg whites to the mix, stirring gently with a top to bottom motion.
Assembling the cake
Preheat oven 375 F (190 C). Butter a 10“ pan with removable bottom, and sprinkle with a small amount of flour. Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Cut one third of the dough and reserve.
Reduce the dough to ¼” (0.5 cm) thick disk with the help of a rolling pin.
Place the dough over the pan ...... and cover bottom and sides of the pan with the dough, trimming the dough evenly around the edges.
Prick the surface of the pastry evenly with a fork. This step is necessary to prevent the dough from puffing while baking.
Fill with the ricotta cheese mixture, and level with a spatula
Reduce the rest of the dough to ¼” (0.5 cm) thick and cut strips ¾” (2 cm) wide. Place the strips on the cake, crossing them in a diamond shape.
One last strip is to be placed as closure all around the border of the pan.
Prepare the egg wash lightly beating the egg white and the milk together in a small bowl. Brush the egg

Spinach and Ricotta Pie, cooking recipe
I Love Grandma's and I love when she cooks.
Cooking recipe: Spinach and Ricotta Pie
Ingredients: For the Pastry
flour
margarine
pinch of salt
water
For the Filling
500g ricotta
80g grated cheese
150g ham
800g spinach
2 eggs
egg white
salt and pepper
Method
1 Clean and wash the spinach. Boil in salted water. When cooked remove as much water as possible.
2 Cut ham into small pieces. Mix ricotta, egg, ham, chopped spinach, salt, pepper and cheese. Mix well.
3 Grease a pie dish and line with pastry. Fill in with the mixture. Egg wash the edge and cover with pastry. Make some pastry decoration on top.
4 Egg wash and bake in a moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
Deep Fry - Rice Ball Cooking recipe
MY GRANDMA'S RICE BALLS
Ingredients:
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 lb. chop meat
1 can tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for deep frying

RICE BALLS:
1 lb. cooked rice (not minute or quick)
1 lb. cooked rice (not minute or quick)
3 eggs, separated
1/2 stick butter
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cheese
Bread crumbs
Cook enough rice to equal 1 pound cooked rice (approximately 2 ounces dry)

for about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool. While cooling, make sauce.
Brown onion,
then chop meat in frying pan.
Add tomato paste, salt, and pepper to taste and cook 15 minutes.
When rice is cooled,
add egg yolks, grated Italian cheese, and salt plus
3 tablespoons sauce just to give the rice some color.
Mix well together with the butter.
Beat egg whites in a bowl.
Beat egg whites in a bowl.
Take a handful of rice mix; shape into a ball and make an indentation in the center.
Place tablespoon of meat sauce filling in center; reshape into ball.
Dip in egg whites and then bread crumbs.
Deep fry in hot oil until toasty brown. Serve hot.
Recipe can be doubled.
